Kirishima Sangen Ton (Kirishima Three-Breed Pork) is one of the Miyazaki Brand Porks — carefully raised at designated farms within Miyazaki Prefecture managed by JA Miyazaki. In Miyazaki’s rich natural environment, it is produced as a three-breed cross pig — Duroc crossed with a sow (Landrace female × Large White male). While the brand makes use of the genetic strength unique to three-breed crossing — with JA Miyazaki centrally managing breed, compound feed, and rearing management — the greatest appeal of this brand is being able to stably deliver consistent, high-quality pork.
