Shichisei Honki Buta (Seven Stars Serious Pork) is a brand pork from Shikoku — produced by Shichisei Shokuhin Co., Ltd., headquartered in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. The company has multiple farms in Kagawa and Tokushima Prefectures — building a committed integrated production system of consistently self-managing from breeding through fattening, slaughter, processing, and distribution. The inclusion of the word ‘serious (honki)’ in the name is also an expression of the strong will to tolerate no compromise in pig rearing.

The defining feature of rearing is the proactive incorporation of animal welfare thinking.
