Ajiwai Pork, produced by Osato Livestock in Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is a brand pork that realizes consistent quality through unified sourcing of parent pigs and thorough feed management. The defining feature is the incorporation of root vegetables into the feed. The umami components derived from root vegetables draw out the deep, authentic flavor of pork, imparting a subtle, natural sweetness to both the meat and fat.
