Sachi-buta is a brand pork consistently produced and managed by Hayashi Farm Co., Ltd., headquartered in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. Founded in 1953 and maintaining more than 70 years of commitment to quality and the environment in the refreshing natural environment of the southern Akagi foothills — the company’s proudly confident brand pork, infused with all the accumulated techniques and achievements. In terms of production systems, the ‘Three-Site System’ separating management of each growth stage — breeding, weaning, and fattening — at separate farms has been introduced. Furthermore, by rigorously practicing the ‘All-In, All-Out’ method of thoroughly washing and disinfecting the barns after emptying them completely, external pathogen entry is reliably blocked — establishing a management system for stably raising hygienic, healthy pigs. The commitment to feed production is equally unwavering. Operating a self-owned dedicated compound feed factory, an original blended feed tailored to each growth stage of the pigs is manufactured only as much as needed each day, and given to the pigs fresh. The breed is a three-breed cross of Landrace, Large Yorkshire, and Duroc — the combination of breeds with outstanding genetic traits producing a soft, crispy texture, and a premium pork of excellent balance between richness and fat. Maintaining annual shipments of approximately 300,000 head at this large scale while maintaining quality uniformity is also a strength unique to Hayashi Farm.
