Iwami Pork is a brand pork raised at Ochi Big Farm in Ohnan Town, Shimane Prefecture. Adopting the rare Camborough breed — raised in a clean environment under thoroughgoing hygiene management in windowless barns with an all-in, all-out method. Entry to the barns is restricted to personnel only — with mandatory change of clothes and disinfection upon entry, strict infection prevention measures are implemented. Furthermore, temperature, ventilation, and humidity are finely adjusted to the optimal state according to growth stage — an environment comfortable for the pigs is thoroughly maintained.
