Hokkaido’s pride — a brand pork with off-odor-free tenderness and a shining commitment to safety and reliability.

Success Mori SPF Pork is a Japanese brand pork (meigara-buta) from Mori Town, Kayabe District, Hokkaido, managed by Success Mori Co., Ltd. Breed / crossbreeding: Female (W × L) × Male: D — Zenno-W, Zenno-L1, Zenno-D02.

Raised in Mori Town, Kayabe District, in the Oshima region of Hokkaido, Success Mori SPF Pork is a brand pork produced at a Japan SPF Swine Association-certified farm, committed to safety and reliability. Success Mori Co., Ltd. was established as an SPF farm under the strong conviction of ‘not letting pigs get sick.’ Practices such as mandatory showering before entering the barn have become deeply embedded in the farm’s culture, rooted in a total refusal to allow any pathogens in. Representative Director Takase speaks of the farm’s founding principle as ‘wanting to pursue safety and peace of mind’ — and that dedication to raising each pig with care comes through in every aspect of operations.

SPF pigs are those free of specific pathogens; raised in a healthy state, they have fewer occasions to require unnecessary medications, and the inherent umami of the pork tends to shine through more clearly. The most distinctive feature of Success Mori SPF Pork is the almost complete absence of the characteristic off-odor of pork. The meat quality is finely grained, and a soft, tender texture unfolds in the mouth. It also has the practical appeal of remaining delicious even when cooled — a quality that makes it excellent for bento sides and make-ahead dishes.

The feed is a dedicated compound for SPF pigs, maintaining both pig health and consistently stable meat quality. The shipping age is 166 days, with approximately 8,200 head shipped annually through Hokkaido Livestock Corporation’s Hakodate plant and distributed widely through Hokuren Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives.

Hokkaido’s rich nature and the producer’s honest commitment — please do try this SPF pork at least once.
