Hakata Sweetone, a brand pork representing Fukuoka, is a finely grained, soft pork richly receiving the bounty of feed rice. Produced at designated farms within Fukuoka Prefecture — by strictly selecting producers and unifying rearing management methods, consistently realizing stable high quality.

The dedicated feed used in rearing richly blends primarily Fukuoka Prefecture-produced feed rice — giving rice to the pigs greatly influences the quality of the pork. By incorporating feed rice, the amount of oleic acid contained in the pig’s fat rises — producing a unique sweetness and mellow flavor. The lean is a clean pink and the fat is white and lustrous — a visually beautiful pork as well. The minimal off-odor is a major characteristic — the inherent umami of the ingredient can be enjoyed to the fullest just as it is.
