Born from a sincere wish to ‘deliver pork that improves health when eaten’ — Butamin is a brand pork produced in Aichi Prefecture. By giving a dedicated feed independently developed by JA Aichi Keizairen based on many years of research, a high nutritional value not found in standard pork is realized. Through the action of sesame oil meal blended into the feed, sesamin accumulates in the fat. Sesamin is a functional component attracting attention for its strong antioxidant action and cholesterol-lowering effect — with a confirmed content of 2 mg or more per 100 g. Furthermore, by blending rice bran and brown rice, Vitamin B1 is approximately 1.4 times and Vitamin E approximately 2.4 times that of standard pork — high values. Attracting attention from health-conscious consumers as a pork from which health components can be naturally ingested from daily meals. By giving feed with a generous barley blend, outstanding individuality is also born in the meat quality. Characterized by a non-gamey, refreshingly clean fragrance and subtle sweetness — a texture that seems to smoothly melt when it enters the mouth can be enjoyed. With concentrated umami, the deliciousness can be fully savored even in simple preparations such as salt or sauté alone. There is no compromise in quality management either — only pork that clears strict meat quality inspection at the meat market is given the title ‘Butamin.’ After careful rearing for approximately 180 days at certified farms within Aichi Prefecture — delivered to tables through multiple slaughter facilities including Nagoya City Central Wholesale Market South Market.
