In the rich natural environment of the Osumi Peninsula — the pork produced through many years of committed rearing management obtained trademark registration in 2002 — its high quality is widely recognized. For the feed — a special feed combining koji mold and fermented feed while further fortifying Vitamin E is given from the late fattening stage. In the finishing period, wheat is added at 10% — creating a flavorful meat quality. For the pigsty drinking water — activated water processed with a ceramic activating device is used — carefully arranging an environment where pigs grow healthily.
