Yonekawa Shiokaze Pork (Sea Breeze Pork), produced by Yonekawa Pig Farm in Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is an SPF pig (specified pathogen-free) nurtured by the rich terroir of Hokota, close to the Pacific Ocean. SPF pigs are raised in a rigorously hygiene-managed, clean environment with no specified pathogens — consistently maintaining healthy, high-quality meat. Yonekawa Pig Farm has also obtained Farm HACCP certification, with devoted rearing practices pursuing food safety and reliability consistently from production through to shipment.
