Sanshuya Osusume no Oishii Butaniku (Sanshuya Recommended Delicious Pork) is an individual brand of Miyazaki Brand Pork — selected by the staff of ‘O-Niku no Sanshuya,’ a specialty meat shop with 15 locations throughout Miyazaki Prefecture, by eating themselves. Officially certified in March 2023 (Reiwa 5) — produced only at designated farms within Miyazaki Prefecture clearing strict safety and reliability standards. Pork that professionals have actually tasted and approved — it’s as if quality assurance is already obtained before purchasing — excitement arises even before it appears on the table. The breed is a three-breed cross pig — Duroc male crossed with Landrace × Large Yorkshire female. Carrying the blood of Duroc — known for excellent meat quality — finishing as pork with exquisite balance of appropriate fat sweetness and firm umami — easy to match with various preparations. A compound feed centered on corn and wheat is used for the feed — by unifying breed, compound feed, and rearing management across farms — a system capable of continuously supplying consistent, stable quality is in place.
