The designated fattening farms are 3: Katagiri Farm, Tomatsu Farm, and Tomizawa Pig Farm — each steadily continuing rearing management that draws on the local terroir. The brand pork dedicated feed is given continuously from approximately 120 days of age through to shipment, with consistent feed management contributing to stable meat quality. The breed is LWD three-breed cross — Landrace × Large Yorkshire sows with Duroc male — producing a well-balanced meat quality of lean and fat. The approximately 180-day rearing period — longer than standard — firmly draws out a deep umami through patient fattening.
