Terra Pork Chikyubuta (Terra Pork Earth Pork) is a brand pork produced by Bright Pick Chiba Co., Ltd., based in Asahi City, Chiba Prefecture. Raised using a proprietary liquid feed manufactured in-house, the defining feature is a proprietary formulation centered on wheat-based ingredients. While ‘Shizawa Pork Kome Shiage’ — of the same Bright Pick Chiba group — is centered on rice-based ingredients such as feed rice, Terra Pork Chikyubuta has a feed design centered on wheat-based ingredients — this difference brings a unique character to the flavor and fat composition of the pork.
