‘Ebara Herb Ton Mirai’ (Ebara Herb Pork Future), produced by Ebara Pig Farm Co., Ltd. located in the farming district overlooking Mount Akagi in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, is a brand pork born of a thoroughgoing commitment to medication-free rearing and herbal feed. From birth through to the day of shipment, the rearing environment of relying not at all on medications has been steadfastly maintained since the brand standards were established in 2000. By obtaining the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries standard ‘Production Information Disclosure Pork JAS’ certification, the transparency of production history and food safety has continued to be demonstrated to consumers nationwide. The feed uses non-GMO corn and soybean as the primary ingredients, combined with 11 varieties of herbs including oregano and mint, and lactic acid bacteria in a brand-original formulation. The abundant antioxidant components in the herbs, combined with Vitamin E, bring the effect of sustaining the freshness and flavor of the meat for longer.
