Hyogo Yukihime Pork (Hyogo Snow Princess Pork) is a brand pork with integrated production within Hyogo Prefecture. True to its name — characterized by pure white, beautiful fat like snow and rich marbling-style intramuscular fat. What the producers particularly commit to is the feed — using eco-feed utilizing surplus bread and noodles from the food manufacturing process as the base, while blending starch-rich wheat-derived feed at 40%+ dry weight for 50+ days before shipment, realizing a special meat quality. Thanks to this high starch feed, the fat content in the loin meat rises to approximately 3 times that of standard pork — finished with a marbling that is exceptional even in appearance. Furthermore, the fat melting point being approximately 3°C lower than standard pork produces a smooth texture that melts instantly from the moment it enters the mouth. Furthermore, the high proportion of oleic acid contained in the fat is also one of the major appeals — a clean, elegant finish. What Hyogo Yukihime Pork aims for is establishing a position as a strong brand rivaling Kobe Beef in the Kansai region where beef culture is deeply rooted.
