In the Itoshima land blessed with rich nature overlooking the Genkai Sea, each producer farm raises with affection and devoted fattening. With food safety and quality prioritized above all — clean, well-ventilated barns are arranged, with careful attention to health management — the pigs are cherished in a free-roaming environment. The defining feature of Itoshima Ton is the softness of the finely-grained meat quality and the elegant sweetness and rich umami residing in the fat.
